Griffin iPad 2 Car Chargers now come with Smart Fuse

In the past car chargers for the iPod, iPhone and iPad use to contain fuses which blew due to over current. Now the new range of car chargers from Griffin have a built in automatic circuit breaker or “smart fuse”. This means a power surge will trip the smart fuse hence protecting your iPad, iPhone or iPod. In order to reset the charger just unplug is from the cigarette lighter, wait 15 seconds and plug it back in. However if the car charger “smart fuse” trips again it worth getting your car checked out by an auto electrician
